Each April the beech woodlands of the Chilterns are transformed by carpets of native British bluebells.  Their delicate fragrance fills the woodland air and has long been associated with calming, medicinal properties.  The UK is home to around half of the world's native bluebells, and the Chilterns support some of the country's most spectacular displays.
